Booster coverage of population by country

Booster doses administered per 100 people

EXPLAINER

This map shows the booster coverage ratio for each and every country (the map is clickable and provides additional detail in the tooltips). The booster coverage ratio is defined as the total number of booster doses administered relative to the total population.

At this stage, we do not differentiate between first, second, etc booster doses. Instead we lump them all together, which may result in the possibility that for some countries more than 100 doses have been administered per 100 people. This is also why unlike the primary vaccine coverage ratio the booster coverage ratio is unbounded (here the upper tranche of ≥75 is without an upper bound).
